我們在日常生活中，經常會碰到需要寫借條、收條、收據等情況，而在英語中，這類便條性實用文體的表達有其獨特的行文方式，愛好者要留心使用。

一、欠條的寫法

IOU

This is to acknowledge that I borrowed 500 Yuan （five hundred RMB Yuan） from Mr。 Wang Weiming for a period of six months at the interest rate of 8% annually。 The six-month interest will be： 500 × 8% ÷ 2 = 20（元）。 The due amount plus interest being 520 yuan in total will be repaid on or before Dec。 31st， 2002。

Borrower： Li Xiao Feng （signature）

May 1， 2020

條

今借王為民人民幣500元（伍拾元整），為期六個月，利息按年息8％計，六個月利息為：500 × 8% ÷ 2 = 20（元）。該款連同利息（合計520元）將於2020年11月30日（含）前還清。

借款人：李小峰（簽字）

2020年05月01日

說明：

1。 IOU是縮寫，全稱是I owe you， 意為“我欠你”，引伸為“借條，欠條”。

2。 This is to acknowledge that…茲承認……（後面直接加句子）這是實用文體的專業表達句式。

3。 due amount 應付金額

due 原意為：應得的，到期的

再如：due date 到期日，應付日期

due interest 應付利息

4。 repay 即常說的“償還”，如：repay one’s debt 償還債務

5。 on or before a date在某日期前（含）。如：

6。 on or before December 31 十二月31日前（含）

二、收條的寫法

Receipt

This is to acknowledge receipt of 15，000 Yuan （fifteen thousand RMB Yuan） from Mr。 Zhang Dong Min being payment of service charge for overseas labour export with deposit included during the service period abroad。 The deposit shall be refunded on the return to the country。

收條：

茲收到張東民15000人民幣元，該款是出國勞務費，含出國期間的押金，其中押金將回國後予以退還。

【說明】

1。 acknowledge receipt of…是實用文體的特殊表達，意為：承認收到……（後接名詞）。如：

This is to acknowledge receipt of 15 metric tons of rice。 茲承認收到15公噸大米。

2。 being payment of…是實用文體的特殊表達，意為：款項用途為。如：

Yesterday Jim transferred $1 500 to his college being payment of tuition thereto。

昨天吉姆給大學轉賬1500美元，用途為大學的學費。

3。 service charge 即常說的“手續費、服務費”

4。 refund vt。 退款

三、收據的寫法

欠條和收條都文字類的實用文體，但是收據卻屬於票據類，其上的文字以簡明、專業化為特徵。請看下面的收據樣本。 ��

1。 Received from“收到來自某人（的款項）”，後接人名

2。 amount in words是指“大寫金額”。注意，“小寫金額”是amount in figures

3。 being payment 是一個分詞短語，等於：This money is the payment of…表示款項的用途

4。 SIX HUNDRED AND FIFTY-TWO DOLLARS ONLY：陸佰伍拾貳美元整。

注意：only 放在金額後表示 “整”。如：

This hat sells at $ 52 only。 這頂帽子售價為52美元整。

5。 payer指“付款人，交款人”；payee指“被付款人，收款人”。

6。 stamp 在這裡不是郵票，而是指“印章”。�
