Web-based configuration of Cisco IOS-based devices
Cisco IOS Releases 11.3 and later include a built-in HTTP server.
This creates a browser-based GUI through which most of the Cisco IOS commands can be issued to the router。 To use the Cisco web-based GUI， the client computer must have a web browser application and should have network reachability to the router。
The tasks involved for using the web-based GUI are as follows：

CCP支援路由器、交換機，20171201最新版本為3.3
CCP （Cisco Configuration Professional） 是一個免費的圖形使用者介面，能夠用來配置許多較為複雜功能。 CCP 有兩個不同的版本
CCP Desktop：安裝在 Windows 作業系統的 PC 上的軟體，功能完備，能夠配置包括ZBF，VPN，語音等功能。
CCP Express：安裝在路由器上，透過瀏覽器連上去用，只能配置基本埠和路由配置。
Router上供瀏覽器下載的 Java Applet.
CCP是SDM的代替產品，但是CCP的侷限性是不支援ASA防火牆，所以網上關於 CCP vs SDM的爭論一大堆....
The Cisco Configuration Professional （CCP） is the replacement for the Security Device Manager （SDM）。 I wanted to start this off by saying that， for certification purposes， everything is still SDM so do not rush out and download this as your study tool！ Stick with the SDM for now。 That said， this is an awesome tool！ It is much more intuitive than SDM， and that says a lot， but not at the expense of functionality。
CCP和SDM都需要Java支援
For Cisco IOS based switches， the CCP and SDM require Java-enabled web browsers。 While enabling Java on MS-Windows platforms for Netscape or Internet Explorer is comparatively easy， it can be difficult to install Java on Linux platforms。

CNA支援交換機、路由器和無線裝置。其主要功能是資產管理、配置管理、韌體升級等。

Cisco Network Assistant (CNA)
for configuring routers， switches， and access-points。 CNA enables users to perform common tasks such as configuration management， inventory reports， password synchronization， and Drag and Drop IOS Upgrade for switches， routers， and access points。

SDM支援路由器、交換機，已經停止更新，最後一個版本為2.5。
注意！Cisco使用CCP取代SDM，但是CCP不支援ASA防火牆，導致SDM依然在繼續使用
SDM的另外一個產品是ASDM，Adaptive Security Device Manager。僅用於ASA防火牆
