老夫聊發少年狂，左牽黃，右擎蒼，錦帽貂裘，千騎卷平岡。

I‘m letting loose my youthful spirit。

In leading the yellow dog on the left，

holding onto the falcon on the right，

wearing brocade hat and sable coat，

I sweep over ridge with thousand riders。

為報傾城隨太守，親射虎，看孫郎。

Report to the whole city who follow me，

I personally shoot a tiger，

to emulate what Sun Quan did。

酒酣胸膽尚開張。

High on wine， I feel bold and unrestrained。

鬢微霜，又何妨！

My sideburns are slightly gray，

but why would that matter？

持節雲中，何日遣馮唐？

When would an imperial decree come

and assign me like Feng Tang story？

會挽雕弓如滿月，西北望，射天狼。

I would then pull my bow to the limit，

and look towards the northwest，

to shoot at the Xixia enemies。

我姑且抒發一下少年的豪情壯志，左手牽著黃犬，右臂托起蒼鷹，頭戴華美鮮豔的帽子，身穿貂鼠皮衣，帶著浩浩蕩蕩的大部隊像疾風一樣，席捲平坦的山岡。為我報知全城百姓，使隨我出獵，我要像孫權一樣，親自射殺猛虎。

我痛飲美酒，心胸開闊，膽氣更為豪壯，兩鬢微微發白，這又有何妨？什麼時候皇帝會派人下來，就像漢文帝派遣馮唐去雲中赦免魏尚一樣信任我呢？那時我將使盡力氣拉滿雕弓就像滿月一樣，瞄準西北，射向西夏軍隊。
