閱讀分享——See the Difference

下午寫論文的時候隨手翻新出的《經濟學人》，在裡面看見CGTN的廣告，覺得甚是自豪和榮耀。畢竟這是在一家黑華傾向比較嚴重的英國媒體裡做我國對外的媒體的廣告，還是比較讓人覺得解氣的。當然另一個方面也說明了，有錢能使磨推鬼，不管你平時怎麼黑我，收了我的錢還是要乖乖給我做廣告。。。

扯遠了。。。

下面是廣告詞：

1。Different faces， different races，different cultural backgrounds。。。 In a world of diversity， one thing all people have in common is a desire for the truth。

a world of diversity 是最近幾年的熱門話題啊，也是國際新聞裡的焦點，無論是恐怖主義還是英國脫歐 美國大選，都和diversity有關。第一句話講的，是在這樣一個充滿差異和不同的世界中，對事實的渴望是不分人種和國家的。

當然這句話我們也可以用來套用在描寫其它問題的句子裡。

比如環境問題：In Beijing， a city which feeds people from different parts of China， one thing all people have in common is a desire for a blue sky。

2。 We are an international team of journalists，

determined to

explore different views and opinions in presenting an honest picture。

這句話是個標準的介紹自己公司或組織的句子。比如隨手上網一搜：

M&G晨光文具，中國文具領先品牌，致力於為消費者打造卓越的文具產品，提供全品類的學習文具、辦公文具。

這時晨光官網上的簡介，套用上面的句型，這句話可以這樣翻：

M&G is a leading stationary company in China， determined to provide excellent stantionary and office supplies for our customers。

3。 We believe in bringing fresh perspectives to

news reporting

by

seeing the world through unblinkered eyes

。

這句話可以學習的點就很多啦

bring fresh perspectives to sth 以新鮮的視角 可以用來寫書評：The author brings fresh perspectives to the question of growing big cities。

news reporting 新聞報道

see the world through unblinkered eyes

blinker 名詞有馬眼罩的意思，動詞是矇蔽，給…上眼罩。

blinkered： adj。 （disapproving） not

aware of every aspect of a situation； not willing to accept different ideas

about sth 目光狹窄的；心胸隘窄的 SYN narrow-minded

eg。 a blinkered policy/ attitude/ approach

偏狹的政策╱態度╱方法

因此 see the world through unblinkered eyes 可以翻譯成”以全方位的視角看世界“的意思。

CGTN 的全稱是China Global Televsion Network， 其前身是CCTV-NEWS，在CGTN開播前我就經常看CCTV-NEWS的節目。現在國際上能佔有權威地位的媒體中幾乎看不見中國人的身影，而西方媒體普遍對華不太友好，關於中國的報道更是經常有失偏頗。希望CGTN的各位媒體人們能為世界帶去更加豐富的中國聲音，有朝一日，也讓外國人像中國人拼了命聽讀CNN一樣研習CGTN吧。
