「英文睡前故事」Too Noisy《太吵了》

Once there was an old man。

He lived in an old house。

從前，有一位老人（old man）。

他住在一所舊房子（house）裡。

“This house is too noisy，”

said the old man。

The door creaked。

The floor squeaked。

And the window went bang-bang。

老人說：“這個房子太鬧騰了。”

門（door）吱嘎作響。

地板（floor）也吱吱作響。

窗戶（window）砰——砰——

One day the old man took his cane。

Off he went to see a very wise lady。

“My house is too noisy，”

said the old man。

“What can I do ？”

一天，老人拄著柺杖（cane），

他出發去拜訪一位

非常智慧的夫人（lady）。

老人對她說：“我的房子太鬧騰了，

我該怎麼辦呢？”

The lady said，

“Take this goat。

The goat will live with you

in your house。”

夫人說：“帶著這隻山羊（goat），

它將和你住在一起。”

The old man took the goat to his house。

The goat went maa-maa。

It broke a chair with its horns。

Crash！

老人把山羊帶回了家。

山羊開始咩咩叫。

它用羊角（horns）碰壞了椅子。

So the next day the old man

went back to the lady。

“My house is still too noisy！”

he said。

So the wise lady gave him a cow

to take to his house。

因此，接下來這天，

老人又回去找這個夫人。

他說：“我的房子仍舊太鬧騰了。”

聰明婦人給了他一頭奶牛讓他帶回家。

The caw went moo-moo！

The goat went maa-maa！

The old man put a pillow

over his head。

奶牛哞——哞——

山羊咩——咩——

老人把一個枕頭（pillow）放在頭頂上。

The caw went moo-moo！

The goat went maa-maa！

The old man put a pillow

奶牛哞——哞——

山羊咩——咩——

老人把一個枕頭（pillow）放在頭頂上。

The donkey went hee-haw，

hee-haw！

The caw went moo-moo！

The goat went maa-maa！

The old man yelled，

“It is too noisy！”

驢子嘿——嚯——

奶牛哞——哞——

山羊咩——咩——

老人吼叫道：“這太鬧騰了！”

The next day

the lady came to the house。

She said，“Open the door。

Let out the goat，the caw，

and the donkey。”

And the old man did。

接下來這天，

夫人來到這座房子，

她說：“開啟門，

讓山羊、奶牛、驢子都出去吧。”

老人照著聰明婦人的話做了。

And what do you know？

The house was quiet now！

The old man went to bed

and slept all day long。
