the other day≠改天

the other day = not long ago，意思是幾天前、不久以前。而another day意思是改天、又一天、新的一天。

活到明天就可以說live to see/fight another day。

white day才不是白天的意思呢？實際上white day = White Valentine’s Day，是白色情人節的縮寫。還可以表示良辰吉日，white是幸福的、吉利的意思。

白天正確的表達方式是by day，夜裡就是by night。要注意，加了the意思就變了！by the day是按天計算，隨著時間的意思。
