每次有不去的心事或長時的不如意就總會看一遍《老人與海》。獨自沉浸在相似的貧落之中，體會著那種向大海、向生活衝擊的任性。不是個體的剛強威猛，亦不是個體的決然毅力，只是普通生命面對生活困境所能夠達到的那無法想象的張力。
