新月娟娟，夜寒江靜山銜鬥。

The new moon is so very lovely。

In cold night， river is calm and Dipper hangs on hill。

起來搔首，梅影橫窗瘦。

I wake up and restlessly scratch my head。

Plum branches cast shadows across small window。

好個霜天，閒卻傳杯手。

What a frosty day it is！

At leisure time， we pass around drinks。

君知否？

Sir， don’t you know？

亂鴉啼後，歸興濃於酒。

In listening to chirping of rowdy crows，

yearning to hometown is stronger than wine。

一彎秀美的新月高高懸掛在夜空中。寒夜裡，江流澄靜，聽不到一點波濤的聲音，北斗星斜掛在山頭。我輾轉難眠，心緒不寧，披衣而起，只見窗紙上映現著疏落的幾枝梅影。

如此寒冷的霜天，本是眾人相聚推杯換盞的時候，可現在，這雙手卻閒下來了。你知道嗎？宦海中的“亂鴉”叫人痛恨，我思歸的念頭比霜天思酒還要濃厚。
