八月十五是什麼節日

6月12日考英語四六級，正好是端午節假期。

端午節：Dragon Boat Festival

農曆五月初五：The fifth of May according to the lunar calendar

紀念屈原：in memory of QuYuan

粽子：rice dumpling

賽龍舟：Dragon Boat race

中國四大傳統節日之一：One of the four traditional Chinese festivals

豬肉、花生和一些豆類：pork，peanuts and some other beans。

母親節和父親節離四級考試挺近。

母親節：Mother‘s day

五月第二個週日：The second Sunday of May

父親節：Father’s day

六月第三個週日：The third Sunday of June

會收到孩子們的禮物：presents will be given by kids

5月1日 勞動節

勞動節：International Workers‘ Day / May day

五月一號：on May 1st

慶祝勞動者爭取到權益：in order to celebrate the seccess of getting rights of workers。

每個努力生活的人都值得尊敬：everyone who lives hard deserves respect。

清明節是個大節日。（在今年4月4）

清明節：Tomb-Sweeping Day 農曆三月初一前後：around the first day of March according to the lunar calendar

掃墓：sweep graves

祭祖：sacrifice ancestors

春節。雖然從小到大聽了很多相關的內容（包括英文中聽過），但好像又不見得自己記住了什麼，再回憶回憶吧。

春節：The Spring Festival

人們通常有七到十天的假期：People usually have a long holiday of seven to ten days

拜年：visit friends and relatives

守歲：stay up late to see New Year

打掃屋子：sweep the house

貼對聯：paste the couplet

祭祀祖先：sacrifice ancestors

貼窗花：stick paper-cut

中秋節，八月十五，我的最愛。

中秋節：Mid-Autumn Festival 農曆八月十五：on the August 15th of the lunar calendar

月餅：moon cake

賞月：admire the full moon

拜月亮：worship the moon

也是四大傳統節日之一，四大傳統節日：春節、中秋、端午、清明。

國慶節。

國慶節：National Day

每年十月一號：October 1st of every year

國家會舉行大規模、全民性的慶典，以加強人民的愛國意識：Large-scale，nationwide celebrations are held to strengthen people’s sense of patriotism。
