如何撰寫一份合格的英文求職信？

準備好簡歷與求職信是大學生從學生角色轉變成為工作者的第一步。

相對於簡歷而言，求職信更能詳細地展示出我們的個人能力與求職熱情，一份好的求職信能夠幫我們在眾多候選者中脫穎而出，並助力我們奪得珍貴的面試機會。而對於有意向在海外求職的同學們來說，撰寫出一份完美的英文求職信是非常重要的。那麼在撰寫英文求職信時，我們需要注意哪些問題呢？

首先，讓我們來了解一下一份英文求職信共由哪些部分組成：

第一部分：題頭

在題頭部分，我們需要把個人資訊（姓名、電話號碼、電子郵箱、住址）以及應聘公司的相關資訊（公司名稱、公司地址、投遞日期）羅列出來。

注意事項：

確保在求職信中留下的聯絡方式與簡歷上的保持一致；

如果是在職員工，在投遞求職信的時候不要使用現公司的工作郵箱；

儘量使用自己的名字（如Mike。wang@xxx。com）來構建郵箱地址，並儘可能地使用專業的郵箱網站（如Gmail、Outlook），以防有的小眾郵箱網站出現bug，吞併了應聘公司給予的回覆，或是導致傳送的郵件被應聘公司的郵箱列入垃圾郵件中。

第二部分：求職信主體

開頭寒暄

首先，我們需要對招聘者問好，例如“Dear Katherine”。在不知道對方HR姓氏的情況下，則可以採用應聘崗位方向頭銜進行問好，例如“Dear Sales Team Hiring Manager”，抑或是直接用“Dear Hiring Manager”。

接下來便是開頭段落。要知道，HR每天都需要面對求職信的輪番轟炸，尤其是大公司的HR更是要與成千上萬封的求職郵件打交道。而如果求職信的開頭索然無味，那麼HR大機率會直接把剩下的內容無視掉，那麼想要爭取的面試機會也就隨之石沉大海。也就是說，只有讓開頭段落有足夠的吸引力、喚起HR的閱讀興趣，才能夠為自己爭取更多的“拉分時間”。那麼，如何寫開頭部分才能抓住重點又讓人眼前一亮呢？

l 出色的背景實力，包括教育經歷和工作經歷，比如：

I’m an elementary school teacher with 5+ years of experience leading classrooms of 20+ children in the 4th and 5th grades。 During my employment at Westbrook Elementary， I was able to bring the average score up by 10 points， playing a role in allowing Westbrook to rise from the bottom of the state’s rankings。 I would love to implement a similar strategy over at Sallyport Middle School。 （zety）

※ 在開頭段介紹自己的工作經歷時只需要簡述即可，具體的工作經驗和能力等詳細說明可以在接下來的段落中說明。

l 展示你對所應聘公司的熱情，簡述自己為何適合這間公司。例如：

The Boston Consulting Group‘s emphasis on employee development is why I’m so excited about this position。 My 98% client satisfaction rate at Deloitte owes a lot to my commitment to constant skills improvement。 I‘m excited to see where I could take your client KPIs within such a well-constructed system。 （zety）

l 如果你是因為有推薦人而應聘該公司的，你也可以藉此充當契機引出自己想要應聘這間公司的原因，比如：

Your colleague， Jennifer Shannon， suggested I apply to the content editor position as she is well aware of my love for the English language and storytelling。 I’ve followed Strapped Media’s blog for some time now， and I would be honored to be a part of it。 With my background as a copywriter， I know I have the skills and experience needed to be a valuable asset on your marketing team。（zety）

l 你也可以藉助公司近期的發展（相關新聞或事件）來開頭，例如：

Yesterday， I stumbled across the news that Jedno Corporation has set a strict goal to reduce their carbon footprint to zero by 2025。 I applaud your company’s goal， and one thing led to another and I found a perfect specialist position waiting to be filled on your careers page。 I would love to be a part of Jedno’s historic reduction in dependence on fossil fuels。 （zety）

為什麼適合這間公司？

在這部分，你可以充分地展示自己在教育經歷、工作經歷、工作技能等方面的優勢。但在動筆之前，請確保你已經瞭解清楚該應聘職位的招聘要求（從崗位描述中即可得知）。以老師這一職業為例子，倘若公司意向招聘的是中文輔導教師，那麼在求職信中一個勁兒地吹噓自己的德語水平（即使你的德語真的非常厲害）並不是明智之舉——你應該介紹自己來自中國，中文是你的第一語言，並對中國文化了解頗深。

再舉個例子：

XYZ Company JD：

First of all， a savvy digital marketing manager。

And， on top of that， someone who will supervise the development of their new online portal。

從上述內容中我們可以瞭解到公司對應聘者有兩點要求，一是懂數字營銷，二是能夠監察他們新的線上入口網站。那麼根據招聘要求，可以這麼回答：

In my current position at ABC， I have supervised all phases of our online marketing initiatives， both technical and creative （1）。 Last year， my key challenge was to design and optimize nine product websites for ABC’s most strategic products and improve our SEO results as well as enhance the UX （2）。 Here we are a year later：

l Eight of the nine websites I optimized have achieved and secured their spot in the top 3 results on Google （2）。 These are organic， non-paid results for 10+ key search terms；

l The incoming search engine traffic to all nine websites comprises 47% of the total organic traffic （2） for key terms and phrases。（zety）

根據回答我們可以發現，求職者：①首先表明自己是數字營銷領域的佼佼者；② 而後利用資料充分展示自己的能力。切記“對症下藥”，才能給HR留下好印象！

為什麼想加入這間公司？

HR除了想要了解你是否與招聘崗位相匹配外，同時也希望你是真正地熱愛這份工作——畢竟獲得一位長久的、符合公司企業文化的工作夥伴難能可貴。因此在第三部分中，作為求職者的我們需要做的就是告訴HR為什麼在眾多公司之中選擇了他們，而不是其他公司。在這有三個小步驟分享給大家：

簡單闡述公司概況（比如當前發展計劃等等）

闡述自己的興趣點

與自己的專長相匹配

來個栗子：

I know that XYZ’s current plans involve developing a comprehensive online portal focused on healthcare-related issues （1）。 This project is a perfect match for my personal and professional interests and an exciting opportunity to create a unique online base of knowledge for patients and healthcare professionals （2）。 I would love to leverage my knowledge of SEO marketing and online growth marketing to achieve groundbreaking results with this initiative （3）。（zety）

從這個例子中，可以很明顯的看到，求職者：① 首先指出該公司當前的發展計劃是 “開發一個重點關注醫療保健方面的線上入口網站”；② 其次表明自己對這個專案非常感興趣，因為可以“為患者和醫療保健從業者提供一個線上知識庫”；③ 最後與自己的專長相匹配“我非常想利用我的SEO營銷與線上營銷的知識為公司發展貢獻一份力量”。透過三個步驟，既可以讓HR知道你對公司發展有一定的瞭解又能表明自己的求職熱情。

第三部分：結尾

漂亮的“鳳尾”也是至關重要的，在結尾部分，有三大內容可以寫：

總結上述內容中沒有提到的要點

對百忙之中抽出時間瀏覽求職信的HR表示感謝

對獲得公司回覆的殷切期盼

舉個例子：

So to wrap it all up， thanks for looking into my application （1）。 I hope I can help Company X make the most out of their Facebook marketing initiatives。 I’d love to further discuss how my previous success at XYZ Inc。 can help you achieve your facebook marketing goals。 （2）” （careerblog）

在這個例子中，求職者：① 首先對HR表示感謝，並再次重申了自己的個人能力可以“協助公司的營銷計劃”；② 表達自己有希望與HR進一步探討如何協助公司進行營銷的意願。短短几行句子匯成一句潛臺詞：“快錄用我吧！”

最後的最後，附上正式的結語並署名。常見的結語有：

Thank you

Best regards

Kind regards

Sincerely

With best regards

至此，一封合格的求職信就完成啦！記得求職信的正文字數最好不要超過400個單詞，篇幅長度也要控制在一頁A4紙內。在正式點選確認鍵傳送郵件前，也要再三檢查內容是否有語法錯誤和拼寫錯誤，一定要保證自己的專業態度，杜絕低階錯誤的發生哦！
