【術語攻略】什麼是狀語？
狀語
是英語句子的組成成分之一。狀語的實質功能與副詞功能是一致的，常用於修飾動詞、動詞片語或整個句子，幾乎可以看成是句法角度下的副詞。常用作狀語的語法單位有：副詞、副詞片語、介詞片語、現在分詞、現在分詞短語、過去分詞、過去分詞短語、動詞不定式、動詞不定式短語、以及副詞性從句（即“狀語從句”）。具體示例如下：（例句中的下劃線部分就是狀語。）
1.狀語是副詞
Actually
， it is Howard‘s idea。
事實上，這是霍華德的主意。
I
often
take the subway to school。
我經常乘地鐵去學校。
Tim does
not
like seafood。
蒂姆不喜歡海鮮。
It is
also
a joke。
這也是一個玩笑。
2.狀語是副詞片語
She was a pilot
as well
。
她也是一名飛行員。
Quite surprisingly
， the rain did stop that day。
令人驚訝的是，那天雨真的停了。

much better
than some professionals。
你比一些職業選手打得好多了。
3.狀語是介詞片語
In fact

4.狀語是現在分詞

5.狀語是現在分詞短語
Lying in bed
， the girl soon fell asleep。
女孩躺在床上很快就睡著了。

。
許多年輕人都聚在那裡一起玩。
6.狀語是過去分詞
Grace saw a snake，
frightened
。
格雷斯看到了一條蛇，嚇了一跳。
Wounded
， the soldier fell down。
那士兵受了傷，倒了下來。
7.狀語是過去分詞短語
Absorbed in writing
， the young man forgot to eat。
年輕人沉浸在寫作中，忘記了要吃飯。
Lifted into the air
， the little boy began giggling。
小男孩被舉到空中，咯咯笑了起來。
8.狀語是動詞不定式
They sat down together
to talk
。
他們一起坐下來談話。
The team has been training hard
to win
。
這支隊伍一直在刻苦訓練以取得勝利。
9.狀語是動詞不定式短語
To catch the train
， we got up at 5 o’clock。
為了趕上火車，我們5點鐘就起了。

。

10.狀語是副詞性從句
Tina has slept almost a day so
that she is very hungry now
。
蒂娜幾乎睡了一天，所以她現在很餓。

since he was young
。

As it is so cold outside
， why don‘t we stay indoors？
